Infant Massage Instruction
Facilitated by Susie Gray, Certified Infant Massage Instructor

3-Session Class Dates: Thursdays - September 23, 30; October 7
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am
Fee: Members ... $90 for three classes; Non-members ... $120 for three classes

This class is designed to teach parents how to massage their babies. The beauty of infant massage is the ‘hands-on’ communication that parents share with their little ones. Parents learn simple strokes gathered from Swedish and Indian massage techniques that help tone baby’s digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems. Infant massage enhances this precious time of attachment and bonding between parent and infant that is the foundation from which all future relationships are based upon.
Contemporary research has proven that gentle touch can be as important as food for your baby's physical and emotional development. Other benefits include:
- Discover self-relaxation techniques as a parent.
- Explore all elements of bonding – eye contact, voice, smell, skin to skin contact.
- Massage aids in relief of discomfort from colic, constipation, and congestion.
- Help your baby sleep better.
- Builds trust and create body awareness for your baby and yourself!
- Learn to interpret and respond to baby’s cues while building confidence in caring for your little one.
Express the love you feel for your baby through infant massage. Parents and infants age 6 weeks to 7 months are welcome. Class size is limited, so sign up today!

Expecting a Baby? This informative class is for you!
As your due date approaches, it’s time to draw your energy inward to prepare for labor. A fantastic compliment to a hospital based childbirth preparation class and a wonderful refresher for your second childs birth!
This fun and relaxing class, held in the comfort of your own home, addresses many of the questions you may have including:
- What can I expect at the hospital?
- How do I really know when to leave my house?
- How can my partner participate?
- What if I want an epidural?
- What if I want to birth naturally?
- What should I pack in my bag?
In this class we will also:
- Experience breathing techniques and birthing positions that will be most comfortable for you during your labor and pushing stages
- Discuss Birth Preferences
- Learn about Interventions
